* This tour is designed for travelers flying in to Auckland and staying in Hamilton (which is more affordable and easier to navigate after a long flight) for 2 nights who want a guided Waitomo Tour.  Stay in Hamilton the second night after your tour and move on to the central North Island for Hobbiton and Thermal activities. 

Or it works out great for the last leg of your trip to pop down to Waitomo from Hamilton. 

Travel tip: The road from Rotorua to Hamilton is easier to navigate then the ones from Rotorua to Waitomo Caves.
