The site is simply our large car par as pictured above and we are happy for you to utilize this space overnight when it's not being used and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The car park is located at the top of a hill at the end of a long gravel driveway which is sign posted and next to the restaurant and native trees, away from the road.
Restrooms during opening hours (9am - late pm)
Grounds to walk around, gardens, tennis court, bush paths and animals to see
Free Glowworm display at night
We do not offer any laundry or rubbish/garbage facilities at this stage. There is a recycling station located on the right by the domain in Waitomo Caves Village for your use.
We do not take any bookings for this space. First in gets the best spots! If the car park is getting full (it fits around 20 campers) there is more space below the restaurant available to use on the sides of the driveway and grass area.
Please be respectful of our property. We live on-site with our young family in the homestead below the restaurant. We also have a guest house there.
Please don't litter or dump your rubbish, use the free recycling facilities in the village opposite the information center.
Please don't use the bushes as a toilet! There are paths all through the native tree areas that people use so it poses a heath risk. If you do need to go and you don't actually use your vehicle toilet there is a toilet located next to the information center in the village that is open 24/7.
Please don't use our restrooms as a washing up facility.
Please be respectful to other campers.
